SG IRON – DUCTILE IRON CASTINGS : - 400/12, 500/7, 550/6, 600/3, 700/2
Ductile Iron also know as SG IRON (SPHERIODICAL GRAPHITE DUCTILE IRON)
Ductile iron is created by an alloying process which converts the crack-promoting graphite flakes of gray iron into nodules. With this micro structural transformation, the metal acquires superior ductility, elongation characteristics, and machinability. The ductile iron family offers the design engineer a unique combination of strength, wear resistance, fatigue resistance, and toughness, as well as excellent ductility characteristics. In all its grades, ductile iron exhibits mechanical properties that make it an ideal alloy for investment casting.
GREY CAST IRON: - CI Gr.20, CI Gr.25, CI Gr.30
Grey Cast iron, also known as flake graphite cast iron, is a type of type of cast iron in which most of the carbon is present as flake graphite corresponding to Form I of IS 7754. The properties of Grey Cast Iron depend on the distribution, size and amount of graphite flakes, and the matrix structure. These factors are in turn, influenced mainly by the manufacturing conditions, chemical composition, solidification time and rate of cooling in the mould. Grey cast iron exhibit low to moderate strength, low modulus of elasticity, low notch sensitivity, high thermal conductivity, moderate resistance of thermal stock, and outstanding cast ability.
STEEL CASTINGS
We provide superlative Stainless Steel Castings that are precisely manufactured for anti-corrosive application. These precise castings are widely used in various industries likely, Pump, Valve, Chemical, Agro chemical, Petro-chemical & other industries. steel castings are typically used in the manufacturing of parts that must endure shocks, wear, or heavy loads. Stainless steel castings are designed to resist atmospheric corrosion, the attach of hot or cold acids, and scaling at elevated temperatures.
The basis concept of Stainless Steel castings is for Anti-corrosive, Anti-errosions, Heat resistance & are manufactured as per National as well as International Specification. The known grades are SS 304 [CF8] SS 316 [CF8M] SS 316L [CF3M] Alloy-20 [CN7M] SS 309 [CH-20] SS 310 [HK-40] etc.
MANAGANESE STEEL CASTINGS
We offer impeccable Manganese Steel Castings that are characterized by hardness, anti corrosive nature and high wear & tear. Our High Manganese Steel Castings are available in various grades to meet the demands of the esteemed clients. We are well reckoned as one of the supreme Austenitic Manganese Steel Castings Suppliers in India.
NI-HARD CASTING or NICKEL-CHROMIUM CASTINGS
Ni-Hard castings has chrome content of 1.4% to 28% , alloys containing 3 to 5% Ni and 1 to 4% Cr, with one alloy modification that contains 7 to 11% Cr. It is an abrasive casting for low and high stress abrassion in Mining, Milling, and Earth Handling uses. It is also used extensively in the Power Plant Industry, Brick Plant Industry, Asphalt Industry, Cement Industry, and Rock Crushing Industry. Ni – Hard casting is extremely wear resistant material and in cast form is ideal for use with abrasive products, giving a much more extended life
CENTRIFUGAL CASTINGS
Centrifugal casting is produced by forcing molten metal to solidify in rotating moulds. The speed of the rotation and metal pouring rate vary with the alloy and size and shape being cast.
Centrifugal casting has greater reliability than static castings. They are relatively free from gas and shrinkage porosity. Many times, surface treatments such as case carburizing, flame hardening and nitriding have to be used when a wear resistant surface must be combined with a hard tough exterior surface. Conventional static casting defects like internal shrinkage, gas porosity and nonmetallic inclusions are less likely to occur in centrifugal casting.
NO-BAKE CASTING PROCESS
Nobake molding is an efficient means to produce medium and low volumes of complex castings in both ferrous & nonferrous metals. In the nobake process, sand is mixed with a chemical binder/catalyst system and then molded around a pattern. After a specified period of time, the sand mixture hardens (resembling a brick in strength) to form the mold halves - at which time the pattern is drawn from the mold. Then, a refractory coating may be applied to both mold halves before they are brought together to form one complete mold for pouring. Nobake molded cores also can be produced using a similar method and assembled into the mold to form more complex shapes.
Nobake molding is known for its versatility. Virtually all metals can be cast via nobake molding, with component weights ranging from less than a pound to several hundred thousand pounds.

PRESSURE DYE CASTINGS
Sanmati Forge Cast is engaged in the manufacture of high quality aluminum and zinc die cast components in complex shapes & design to industrial houses, Locomotives, Agriculture, Defense, Medical and Racing Engine applications.
Die casting is a fast, cost-effective manufacturing process for production of high volume, net-shaped, tight tolerance metal components. It has the benefit of increased quality and repeatability, often at lower costs compared to other processes.
The die casting process is the injection under high pressure into a steel mould (or tool) of a molten metal alloy, which solidifies rapidly (from milliseconds to a few seconds) to form a net shaped component and is then automatically extracted. The die casting tool will typically produce any number of components from hundreds of thousands to millions, before requiring replacement.
We have, for our Aluminum castings, six cold chambered machines from 120 Mt to 400 Mt. For Zinc die casting we have four Hot chambered die casting machines from 50 Mt to 90 Mt. Apart form above we have 3 gravity die casting machines.
